2007 AGM VERY SUCCESSFUL

The 2007  AGM  held in Brosna on the 22nd August was a great success.  Members rallied round to demonstrate their support for the  Club and the actions taken by the Committee during the very  difficult last few months.

Working, Show and Pet owners were equally represented,  demonstrating that we are a Club for all those who have an  interest in the Parson Russell Terrier.

The Chairman and Secretary both stood down and were unanimously re-elected. The Club Treasurere Janine Dooner, failed to attend or to produce accounts or to offer an apology for non-attendance, so needless to say she was not re-elected.  Martina Spillane was proposed and unanimously accepted as the new Club Treasurer.

The rules of of the Club have been upgraded  and with a few amendments on the night were approved at the meeeting.   These  rules provide for a Vice-Chairman and Doug Mc Guiness, a founder member, was unanimously elected to this office.

The choice of venue proved very popular,  with  members arriving throughout the evening.  Those who had dogs with them were pleased to find that they could park immediately outside the front of the pub.  A couple of people had to leave immediately after the meeting to attend to livestock,  with the remainder staying on to partake of good conversation, good ale and  copious amounts of sausages and chip

The officers and Committee would like to extend their thanks to the Members who have clearly demonstrated their continued support for the  Club.
